An Unlikely Friendship
The friendship began two years ago when Scout was just a puppy. On his first day at the farm, instead of being intimidated by the giant animals, Scout walked straight up to Maisy and began barking at a stray crow that was bothering her. Maisy, known for her gentle nature, lowered her head and gave Scout a soft “moo” of approval. Since then, they haven’t spent a single day apart.
The Tiny Protector
Scout takes his job very seriously. Whether it’s alerting the farmers to a broken fence or keeping unwanted coyotes at bay from the pasture edge, Scout is always on duty.
